uh oh, Alex has a plan. RUN!!
Surely Niviene would try to talk Alex out of it…
“Invade the Nightmare Realm?!?” she would say, “Do you have ANY idea what’s in store for you if you attempt such a plan???”
She might support the idea if there was a way to rescue, or at least avenge, Merlin, if something has happened to him.
Well done Nicole bringing things back into perspective! 🙂

Still not to savvy on Niviene. Not sure who’s side she’s on. If any.
She may flip out when she sees Merlin’s body/shell.
Hey! Give Alex credit for growing a lot since he began. He’s learned discipline, taken responsibility for the kingdom, attacked a dragon, and begun using his brain.
Dan the strategist. 😀
I can understand Alex doesn’t see any problems with installing some form of secure and reliable communications between the top of the sky and the bottom of the sea. But that doesn’t mean that there won’t be any. ( Heh.)
It shouldn’t be too hard for them to hide Merlin’s body. The Seraphopolian certainly won’t bring it to her attention, and the only way she could stumble across it on her own would be if she had a giant wheeled fish bowl to move around with.
…Or if there was a way to reverse-engineer Mermaid transformation magic for landwalking.
At which point he says well it’s actually all Dan’s idea. What do you say to that, you grumpy old kipperbreath!
“one does not simply walk into the Nightmare realm.”
