Page 1536…
Happy Thursday, all!
Sorry for the delay this morning.
Our internet went down.
All better now.
I’m not sure if Friday’s page (which has the throne room) will be ready in time.
I need to set it up. But please do check back often tomorrow. We’ll see how it goes.
Thank you again to Catherine for helping out!
And thank you to you all for giving her such a wonderful and warm welcome.
Scott
First? Cool… can’t wait to see what else Seraphopolis has to offer!
I wonder what method they have for getting knowledge from the earth? They must have *something* in order to know about steam power…
“Our combination of science and magic keeps Seraphopolis out of reach of both winged and magical beings.”
“Oh, I guess i was the exception, I got here by cutting a chain with my sword.” lol I get it actually. Thanks Scott for keeping it Interesting as always!
Maybe they have a portal! That would bode well for both Alex and Dan. 🙂
Not news from TWC.

Scott! Getting all Steam punk on us, eh? I like it. I also find it odd that Alex hasn’t woken up yet. If Seraphopolis is constanly moving, wouldn’t he come back somewhere in midair or would Dreamland’s magic hold his physical spot on the island?
I love Alexander’s look in the first panel!
Welcome, Catherine! ^_^
I love this whole steampunk Ancient Egypt thing going on. Seraphopolis is beautiful!
I imagine they have lost the way to reconnect with The waking world. They are still using steam technology, while in the waking world we have electricity, gas engines and a whole lot more.
I am loving this new chapter Scott. Catherine thank you for your wonderful work.
I didn’t think Egypt had steam power at that date? Does this imply they have had constant contact or observation of earth, or that they developed it in parallel? I can suspend believe, but I like to know the theory or model behind the alternative world they are in.
* bows deeply to Catherine the Great. *
Thank you your Majesty for supporting Scott.
Let’s give three cheers to Catherine!!!!
HIP,HIP,HURRAH!!!! (I threw a little ‘English’ there,sorry I couldn’t resist.)
Or maybe they just discovered the uses of steam on their own, like we did a long time ago. Two very different people on different parts of the world can have the same idea, so it’s not far-fetched.
the Egyptians were very smart people example, the could move massive blocks to make enormous pyramids mabey they knew about steam before?????
I know, I was thinking the same thing… the first recorded steam engine seems to be from the first century AD, from Greece, or so Wikipedia tells us. But hey, maybe the Egyptians had some yet unearthed technology. It’s possible. 🙂
If nothing else, we could assume records of the Egyptian steam technologies were lost at the burning of the Library of Alexandria. Sad day.
And, Enter Nicodemus, stage left!
that leads to a interesting thought… the ancient Egyptians didn’t use steam did they? if not, did they evolve to discover steam themselves, or did they learn it from somewhere else.
that’s exactly what i was thinking…………. darn weekends.(this is posted friday)
“Of course our utility bills are ridiculous…”
