Wow. I get to be first. Anyway, why is she worry about sea monster when Alex disappear inside the cave?
Sneaked out to catch Felicity, maybe?
“Inconceivable!”
I agree that this is confusing. Maybe there is a restriction on seeing a human in Dreamland? Maybe the Sword of Kings’ magic causes problems?
I expect we will find out in the next few pages.
Yay for computer upgrades! Perhaps after this chapter is done, an upgrade would be in order. 🙂 Loving your pages, as usual, Scott. Great job!
I’ll be more than happy to help you figure out your upgrades. I love to spec computers for other people to spend money on. 🙂
That would make a lot of sense!
Except that Felicity is off with Paddington and Kiwi searching for the City of the Guardians in their stolen pirate ship. To bring her to the cave Alex would have had to leave, reach the surface, flown after them until he found them, bring Felicity back, meet the merpeople and have both her and him kissed, then swim back to the cave. It’s not impossible, and they might have managed a shortcut by using the pool to contact the pirate ship, have them turn around, and meet Alex at the shore to save time; but it would be a lot to accomplish in one night.
Still, it seems Alex HAS left the cave for some reason. I guess we’ll find out why soon. 🙂
This is so cute. <3
Aha! We’re back in Dreamland, hope Dan and Nicole will do as Alex wants…;)
How does her bow stay on?
Hey, Scott, I own a computer repair shop here in East Tennessee. It’s possible I could help you with parts or even whole PCs if you can give me specs for what you need. I would love to help contribute to the betterment of Dreamland and help you in giving us such an awesome story to follow.
Maybe this question had allready been raised and I missed it, but doesnt time flows differently in dreamland than in the real world? Hoe is it possible that this “window” works?
Time seems to pass at approximately the same pace in Dreamland as on Earth. That’s how you got Nastajia growing into a lovely young woman at the same time Alex was growing into a handsome – if thick-headed – young man. Things get a little wonky timewise depending on Alex’s situation in Dreamland. When he and Fel were falling off the tower, NO time passed between his waking up as they fell and when he went back to sleep and was falling again. There have been times when Alex obviously spends more than eight hours in Dreamland, even though he only sleeps eight hours. Time, it would appear, is subject to narrative necessity…
So what did Nastajia and Niviene talk about for all those hours?
