First… again Luls
sorry after the responses I got the last time I just couldn’t help myself this time.
awww kitty cat lost out on fish platter.
They are going to be shot down, aren’t they?
Why is the rum always gone?
Hee scott nice painting of xena.
When you are willing to do a painting of here sidekick Gabrielle then i will for sure.
Nice perspective from behind the merfolk! =D
It’s also Remembrance Day today in Canada, so I’ll just end with a part of a poem I’d like to share:
“… They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years contemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.”
— from “For the Fallen” by Laurence Binyon
Lest we forget
Seconded, always been a big Xena fan but it’s all about Gabrielle! ๐
Also, I get the same feeling as Month. Great page, and again Felicity looks AWESOME, but that last panel is somewhat foreboding. It could just be Scott and his composition skills though, but I can’t help but get the sense that even the Mermen are thinking “oh boy, this isn’t going to end wellโฆ”
They’ll probably beat them but accidentally destroy BOTH ships in the process, or something equally embarrassing. ๐
Amen.
Oh boy – Friday cliffhanger! Interesting that we’re seeing a pirate fleet. Who could have arranged that? Is there a new player about to take the stage?
And to echo Melanie and Bill above, 11/11/11 is a day we should all honor those who have served, and those who are serving in defense of their country. Let’s not forget their families and friends either. If you can thank them in person, take a moment to do so. There will be parades today – if there’s one near you, take a little time out of your day to watch and bring your kids with you if you have any. It’s something we can all do, and it’s little enough compared to what they’ve done and still do in our name.
That was rum? (hic) I thought it was flavored water. (hic)
I was right, it is the Dread Pirate Roberts ๐
This must be a bit confusing for the merfolk. One pirate ship swings down and hovers over them (I wonder what their feelings are towards pirates?), then suddenly turns and goes charging at another pirate ship, the crew all shouting “YAR!”. Probably to engage it in fighting, or maybe run into it if Felicity isn’t a good driver. If I were a mer-person, I think I’d be watching all this a bit goggle eyed…
And the mermaids are left scratching their heads wondering “Who were those pirates?” ๐
Why fight? Get above and drop Paddington on them. It worked last time.
In part because they’re starting out at a lower altitude than the enemy ship and it’s harder to gain altitude quickly with a big guy like Paddington on board.
Obviously, it’s a rum deal!
Shiver me timbers ! I said witty, ye landlubbing scallywag !
Thar be booty in the first post slot, don’t ye be wastin’ it !
Yar !
I am the Dread Pirate Roberts, and I have come to eat your soul.
Oh, you mean this key?
WIN!
I think it’s actually just two ships, theirs and the new one.
pirates!
Yar!
We haven’t seen Kiwi recently…
The only thing that could tear Felicity away from the Mermen she way eying is the opportunity for violence.
Where did they get their hats?
