And here’s some great news…
OUR KICKSTARTER FOR BOOK FIVE IS LIVE!
Jump in now and pre-order the book!
Clarification needed.
Sometimes we are too busy chasing the side quests that we forget all about what started it all. Though calling Nick a ‘side quest’ may be stretching it.
A real grasp of the specifics, ain’t he? Y’know. The REAL important stuff.
Actually, given all the intervening events, I’m rather impressed with Alexander’s memory of the details of the conversation.
Agreed, he kind of had a war going on since that little talk, not to mention learning how to fly, getting exposition from the sword, learning to control when he wakes up, and living an almost normal life while carrying messages between two worlds like a postal service. Oh, and getting his face punched in by a dragon.
Nevertheless I can’t help but find this really. Funny.
I applaud Scott on her face. Very well done for the page.
Ooo…you’ve got a good start on your Kickstart! 🙂
Why does the sword keep looking at Alex like that? It’s starting to freak me out. xD
Okay… I’m pretty sure the sword’s eye is closed, unless I’m missing something!?!? O_o
Zooming in, it looks like the eye IS closed, it’s the reflection / shadow from his hair that makes it look like it’s staring at him.
Well, that WAS a pretty emotional experience for him. The question about helping her find her parents – and his promise to do so – could easily have slipped his mind. And apparently did; I was wondering if he might be being deliberately disingenuous, but both his mouth AND his face are saying “Oh, yeah” in the last panel…
Personally, I’d much rather congratulate Scott FOR her face, even as I sit ON my chair… 😛 😉
Ugh. Boys are so stupid!
LOL
sword’s inner monologue. “you idiot. why me.”
LOL Give him some credit, Nastajia, he remembers a fair amount of details, and I’m sure he would have brought up the parent quest eventually. Question is, how the heck do you even begin? Nick’s not stupid enough to keep them in Astoria–unless he has them where the Guardians are. Surely there’s another way to get there without reading the tablet.
Nah, it’s just Alex.
kind of nast was going to ask something about her parents, surprised alex remembers that far back. lol.
Meh, my grammar still stands. It was implied that I was speaking of the subject matter, that phrase was just omitted, similar to how you omitted the “have” after your “I’d” but it was still implied.
Unless you’re suggesting you do not commend Scott for his work, and something is keeping you from it. Which in that case I say you’re in error, my good fellow.
Way to go Mr. sensitivity
Alex: “First, we need to Google your parents…”
I don’t see what his problem is..I would sit on her face too
