Might be true for non-lucids… but as regards lucid dreaming, Nightmarens like myself get better abilities than Dreamsiders.
For their lot, taking control means freedom to move about a bit more. For our lot, taking control means getting serious upgrades to both fight and escape options. The trouble is that lucid dreaming in a world of horrors tends to lead to becoming one yourself just to survive.
Funny thing is, I’ve long considered making a dream-based webcomic myself… but from the perspective of someone who has only ever known nightmares. Needless to say it would NOT be family-friendly. Shame I don’t have the art skills nor the time / patience for it.
why dosn’t Alex just tell him he can fly?
More importantly, why doesn’t JOEY fly?
because hes being held by a pirate
Yeah, and that’s gotta be one hell of an uncomfortable grip.
Fun dreams are the ones where you can fly. Nightmares are the ones where you’re falling. Guess which one is in progress for Joey?
what kind of loser asks a pirate what they are going to do?
“First ye put your sword down…and then…we RHUMBA!!!”
There will be a fight over who leads, though …
“so i’ll put down my sword and you’ll put down your rock [joey], and we’ll try to kill eacjother like civolized people?”
Shouldn’t he say “now ye put yer sword down”?

“I could just kill you now.”
fear keeps kids from flying
