Maybe Felicity was indeed a spy at first, but then she betrayed Nicodemus by stealing this amulet (which could have been a coincidence. She could have stolen anything), and now she regrets playing the spy girl.
Yup, that’s my theory.
Let’s just wait and see.
You know, it’s a very good thing that for the reason of our first commenter on here, I chose NOT to read the comments until my second read through. I was concerned that someone would be a dumb butt and try and spoil it for the rest of us while pretending to look smart.
If Aero is right, then I think Scallan is the spoiler, since mine (and think of most ppl) that just looks like as complex guess, Scallans comment more looks like a comment after having read on…
Still, I’ll just use my selective memory and block it out 😀
SPOILERS IN THIS COMMENT!
I agree in general, but in this case with Aero, I don’t think that notion is beyond speculation. I was suspecting something similar my first time through. Given that we know this is a series geared towards kids, the idea of an actual spy being in the group is somewhat reduced I think, especially when the author can use the character to fill the role of ‘turning to good once they have friends.’ This concept of the rogue starting out with their own intentions in mind and eventually working for the good of the group is also present. I see Felicity as similar to Dimitri from the Anastasia movie in certain ways.

I was terribly impressed with your foresight. Then I checked the timestamp of your post. Nice try.
Damn spoilers
And Nastajia STILL doesn’t get it. [sigh]
Hey!
No spoiling!
*kicks Aero*
i’ll bet nic wants them to find the tablets so he won’t have to, and then steal them.
I bet Nicodemus let them have it so they could lead it to him.

Alex: “What can this amulet do?”
Arvamas: “Open the royal garage door.”
Supabitch
Elves: Suspicious buggers.
Paddington the Dancing Diplomat: Saving the party!
Alex: Clueles, as usual.
I just started reading the comic and I’m commenting as the story progresses..She could have done the same back in 2008
