“With minds it is just like with parachutes – they work best when open…”
Nastajia’s mind isn’t open due to her preoccupation – and so her ears aren’t as well…
I’m with Safra: Nastajia isn’t listening, and doesn’t care to listen to Felicity. That’s why she doesn’t know what Felicity has, even though Felicity hasn’t been particularly secret about it.
So, wait, the writing on the wall was the ‘tablet?’ I take back a comment I made on an earlier page about them forgetting to look for it. It didn’t occur to me that the tablet would be a giant inscription on the wall of a cave. (I still think they’re all dummies, but maybe I am, too).
They STILL don’t get it.
well Felicity dosn’t know what it is and Nastajia dosn’t know she has it.
But Felicity told them she had the shiny from the dragon’s horde that lit up near the ancient writings…
Yeah, apparently they still haven’t gotten the hint.
Come on Felicity, whip it out and astound and amaze Nastajia already!
My god, they STILL don’t get it?!

Ian – That sounds so awkward. x)

Maybe it’s just because her neck has gotten so long that the blood flow to her brain is being restricted …

@Ian “Come on Felicity, whip it out and astound and amaze Nastajia already!”
Yeah, then show her the amulet ๐
lol @Ian
Feli gets it already, I think, but Nast keeps on smacking her down.
You’d think with ears that big Nastajia would be able to listen!
Now thats a good example of Tragic Irony if I ever saw one…
Within 3 pages they better be going “aha, so we dรณ have the amulet, gee who’d have expected that” O.o
did anyone else notice Arvamas’s eyes are red?
Now, now. Felicity only likes showing her pretty things to guys.

Nastajia was standing aloof from the others when this was mentioned, she couldn’t hear it.
