you know, it kinda makes sense that Dan was so offended when he thought Alex was playing a joke on him about Dreamland. They tried so hard to get him over and I bet he was envious; so then for Alex to brush it all aside, this fantastic thing that Dan always wished he was a part of, that’d tick him off. eh, musing.
Kinda of… I dunno, convenient, that Kiwi, out of the blue, reminded of Dan, just after Alex read his old stories of Dreamland, and it mentioned trying to bring Dan into Dreamland.
I think Dan was bound to come up at some point, and doubt Kiwi could just fly in silence for a couple miles. Then again, it would be perfectly in keeping with what we know of influencing dreams – if it’s in your thoughts during the day, it’s likely to show up in your dreams that night as well. Human belief has a very strong influence on the realm, it seems. Makes sense.
Yes, Kiwi is strong, but she’s hardly the only strong fairy in fiction. Tinkerbell totally whaled on people in “Hook,” and I seem to remember her carrying Peter off to Neverland all by her lonesome. Besides, that shoulder plate offers a better grip than Alex’s finger.
Don’t get me wrong; I wasn’t complaining, just observing. ^_^
As far as any wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey… stuff… with the physics, etcetera, of Dreamland, I can accept nearly anything, as it is DREAMland. Nearly anything can be or seem plausible there, and it allows a lot of story-telling latitude.

Perhaps the worlds are connected on an unseen level?
Maybe they are connected. Especially if she asks about Joey.
Give Dan the necklace, see what happens!
the universe explodes, maybe?
Or Nico would end up with the sword again
BTW why did Alex finding the sword make him need the necklace to go back to Dreamland?
He got past the legal age for Dreamland immigrants?
unless dan is nico?
Nah, his mental firewall is still blocking his access to Dreamland.
Anyone notice that she is carrying Alex *one-handed*? And being pretty casual about it, now that they’re at cruising altitude.
Jeepers, that’s one strong faerie.
