In this case, though, air resistance is only a factor from the point at which Alex’s sword is removed from the wall – not nearly far enough of a drop for air resistance to make a difference. Presumably Felicity let go of Alex a moment before he withdrew the sword, and so fell without sword-drag for a bit before he started to. Thus, she is closer to the ground (well, ledge).
Meanwhile, Alex cut through Oberon and Titania who had been chained to the wall in the tower dungeon. Damn but I’m sure thinking happy thoughts today 🙂
Weight has absolutely zero bearing on fall speed, a one ounce object falls at exactly the same rate as a one ton object assuming air resistance and other factors are the same.
Love how Felicity’s falling cat-style in that last panel.
Felicity: “I don’t believe it!”
Alex: “That…is why you fail.”
I do think Nicodemus is going to be upset when his wall falls in half…
Wait… shouldn’t Alex be falling first, since his armour alone is waaay heaver than Felicity? Oh well. I guess in Dreamland you can define gravity 🙂
I’m a bit late… but I thought I’d point out that heavier objects don’t necessarily fall faster than lighter ones :).
Still Felicity is alot…furrier than Alex’s smooth, aerodynamic armor, posing more drag and air resistance…
you forget that two objects, regardless of weight and size, will hit the ground at the same time
Only in a vacuum, tailman.

Oh look, more bars in more places, that’s the power of AT&T
lol @ Diyedas
… and Alex slices Felicity in half when he lands 😛
lol The sword does seem o be going after her*giggle*
Sword: Come here my prettty

That would go on the list of things to not tell Nastajia.
another thing not to tell nastajia is that alex told felicity to grad hold of him…

She isn’t furrier. She just has skin with the texture of orange-rind.
It’s a pretty long list.
