Silly how milestones motivate you…isn’t it?
A month ago…I did a special Livestream for a classroom in Canada.
I had a lot of fun doing this.
I was wondering if anyone had ideas of how to reach out to other teachers and schools who’d like to schedule sessions like this with me?
It’s free. I wouldn’t charge of course.
If you guys know of how to do this…I’d appreciate it.

Is it possible for Nicole to go back to Dreamland? Wouldn’t that be the best way to satisfy all of her concerns?

To me Nicole is more sensitive than she allows herself to be. It’s endearing, despite the somewhat desperate outburst.
At first I wasn’t too convinced of Nicole’s character being anything but “The Critical one”, but that is changing fast. She has more depth than either Dan or Alex give her credit for, though Dan is getting there.

poor alex (I’m saying that a lot, lately 😀 ). I hope they won’t discuss guys in their conversations. alex deserves to be hassled once in a while, but not even he would deserve such a topic. they’d scar him for life. LOL

I work for a public school in Ohio as a network admin. We have a listserv that in includes most of the schools in the state. I can pass this around and see if anyone bites.
I know my kids would be thrilled to experience livestream with you. I’ll have to check to see if the site is blocked or not, but as obsessed as they have been with your books, that would be amazing for them.

Yes. Dan is Nicole’s boyfriend. Alex is with Nastajia (who has been a softy lately). I think you missed that plot line… Either way, I doubt that Alex sees Nicole that way at this point, after all he did finally confess to Nastajia. And he learned to fly because of her. And I could keep listing.
Scott, as far as interacting with college students, Savannah College of Art and Design (aka SCAD) would be a good opportunity. Anyone here attend there that could give Scott more knowledge on how to interact with the professors to get something like this going?

Alex should be frowning in the second panel. It would make the situation a bit more serious.
I’m curious as to when Nichole will return to dreamland. She now believes again – so why hasn’t she traveled? Also is Alexander really so clueless as to not understand Nichole’s feelings in regards to Felicity? The question comes up because he has been training and learning during these montages – and playing delivery man and in the end is still a duh…?
I bet my teacher at the career center I went to during high school — he teaches 2D internet publishing animation and 3D movie/video animation (i.e. Flash and Maya) — would be interested. I think I tried to show him this site once….idk. If i could get into contact with him again, he’d probably be interested like I said. Idk for sure though.

It’ll go faster if he gets a movie made–then he can count every frame, right? 24 per second…it adds up fast, about 173,000 frames in two hours.

I think Alex’s slightly shocked response is appropriate (and seeing as how I get a weird grin when I’m off-balanced, I can understand Alex’s facial expressions in the first two panels). I think Nicole is the one who is missing the point.
Alex had found a way to not only bring Felicity back to health, but to re-establish the relationship that Felicity and Nicole once shared. However, the main objective for Alex is to help free Dreamland from the tyranny of Nicodemus, not to be Nicole’s messenger boy. Nicole has no place to demand that Alex spend the upcoming time in Dreamland as her ambassador; Alex had already agreed to let Nicole know what Felicity’s response was, she doesn’t need to threaten him.

Older kids and adults can’t go to Dreamland. Alex is the exception because of his sword necklace. And we don’t even know if the necklace would work for anyone else.
I’m guessing from the age of the other humans we’ve seen there that the “shut out” age is sometime before puberty.

What I like is any attempts Nicole had to get physical are completely ineffective. She’s yanking on that shirt, and Alex isn’t budging an inch. It amuses me.

Sorry, can’t help the random out bursts today… Any way, I have to agree with the fact that Alex kind of has more important stuff to deal with than being the shot messenger for Nicole and Felicity (if you get the reference to the old wise saying, get out of my head now). Otherwise I think Nicole is just trying to impress on Alex her desire to have every little detail of Felicity’s reaction, down to the whisker twitches. If not then Nicole has lost it and I expect Dan to follow her. Eventually (coming from a guy who is insane, thats pretty much an ironclad guarantee for you, especially seeing as I am with some one who is at least equally insane). That being said, “Normal people are weird.”
Agreed. From what I can tell (if I am wrong, then so be it), its some where around 10 years old on average. Now that could have a gaping hole in the Nightmare realm… I am not holding much out on that though. My real dreams and nightmares are weird enough as it is, don’t need to know what they could be about instead of some of the stuff I see in the nightmares (see ridiculously vague predictions, almost real dreams, and prophets for reasons).
I almost completely forgot about that actually. Thank you for reminding me. But after all that has happened… I give it an even chance of Nicole failing him or just getting mad at him if he doesn’t. It will be interesting to see what happens.

I wonder how much work was involved getting the cloth physics to work in this scene? I’m pretty sure Scott’s never put a curled hand underneath a stiff color and then had to morph the fabric to make it all work. Actually, from the bottom of Alex’s shirt, you can see that the bottom of the shirt did not move up a few inches, so I suspect Scott took some shortcuts rather than accurately morph an entire shirt-ful of fabric.
Maybe it’s really stretchy fabric …

Livestream works fine here at school! Is there a time that would work best for you to do it? The only chunks of time that wouldn’t work for us would be (ET) 11:15 – 11:45 or 12:45 – 1:35. Other than that, we’re pretty open. School gets out for us about 2:45 and starts about 8:30.
