First!
Also, I knew it was the coronation… Cookies for me, yes!!! 🙂
Constitutional crisis! Who *will* crown King Daniel????
Alex, of course. He is the new consilior/regent.
Isn’t he?
It’s the Teddies, Yay!!!!
Alex would be the logical choice since he will technically forever be known in Legends as “The Uncrowned King of Dreamland”
Maybe that’s how he gets the job.
Consuela? With Mr. Demus gone, she will need a new job as well as more lemon pledge.
Alex of course, duh, leaders! He was the new king for a while. Nic was a false king even!
Also: Teddies!!
Also find it quite funny that they hadn’t thought about this detail sooner.
With Nicodemus gone to his reward, who’ll do it?
Maybe Alex???
My money’s on Merlin, and possibly with Nicole in tow. That would be gratifying on so many levels.
*NOW* you guys think of that?!
Eh, crown yourself. Worked for Napoleon. Sort of.
But yeah, I think it should be Alex.
.. until that whole “betrayal and taking over the kingdom” thing…
Nicodemus redeemed himself – and probably at the behest of and with the assistance of Merlin – will come out from Limbo and pass the advisor torch on to someone else. Maybe Nicole? Tune in tomorrow – the story will unfold as told and Scott has already said it will end. No dragon it out.
Agreed!! 😀
They need to quest for the Dragon Balls to resurrect Old Nick and then he can crown Daniel.
I’m thinking that Nic will arrive; however the method of his return? No idea.
The simple solution is to let the Sword of Kings run the show. It is a sentient sword after all.
Please let it be Alex!
Stop it! Let the story tell the story. Heehee!
Oh… Yes… The Sword of Kings probably is preprogrammed with contingency plans. Complete with snark.
I wouldn’t doubt it. And I notice that Dan doesn’t seem to act as though anyone vital to the proceedings is absent. Or maybe he already knows who is going to do it and when/how they’ll arrive.
Do I detect Maria the Dancer in the center of that first panel?
