Yeah. I didn’t even notice that. Hate to be an art critic but, in addition to that, the perspective is off on the castle. Parts of it appear to be above the horizon line, other parts appear to be below it. Sometimes even in the same area. In relationship to the surrounding buildings, only the topmost turrents and their windows show proper perspective. It appears the horizon falls about where the throne sets on the stairway, so roofs of the three foremost buildings are off also.
Story 1 – Defeat Nicodemus
Loose End 1 – Where are Nastajia’s parents?
Story 2 – Find parents. Discover new big bad and defeat HIM
Loose End 2 – How did Felicity end up here and what REALLY happened to her people
Story 3 – Find Felicity’s people?!?
I remember a while back Scott did mention wanting to do some side stories, like with Paddington’s people specifically. The story of Felicity’s people sounds like it would be exciting! After all these are the Dreamland Chronicles, not the Dan and Alex Chronicles ๐
Well, I’m not annoyed, nor am I an art critic… but I’m an artist also and notice these things. The artwork for Dreamland has been exceptional throughout, but (not to be insulting) this is the first time I’ve noticed anything in it that was so amateurish in execution. Not only is it the very first panel, but it’s a larger one as well. Just my 2ยข.
One of King Daniel’s first tasks will be to track down and fire all of the hoodlums that worked for Nicodemus and terrorized the honest people of Astoria. (That’s if they all haven’t already fled for the tall timber…)
Felicity reliving old childhood fears…?!
Por Felicity. ?
Maybe we’ll find out who it was that took Felicity from her tribe, and why.
Well don’t be stealin’ stuff.
She’s so worried her cheek stripes fell off in panel 3 ๐
Well something wrong must happen now. Or all characters would die from being bored.
Also, she’s trying hard to not pickpocket someone.
Good catch.
When the comic is over, I’ll miss Felicity most of all.

“Why was it build that way?”
“To annoy art critics.”
I think by now that she’s chosen her favorite coin purse.
๐ exactly
I see that Felicity is wearing the clothes of her Egyptian hosts.
And looking *good* in them, too!

It’s a cat thing. Saw one today wearing absolutely nothing and still looking great.

I’m still trying to figure out why Nicole said to Dan, “Tonight’s the big night.” Now it’s “Days Later”?
