Uhm Mom, Alex ran away from home to be with the woman he loves and isn’t coming back. By the way She’s not human and lives in another dimension, Good News is, She’s loaded…
THERE’S Mom! (rolling eyes) Why do Parental figures never show up when it would be a BIT more useful? And Yeah, the awkward questions begin…
Oh THIS should be good…
The house has been being attacked by Nightmare Realm creatures, there’s been a battle royal in the bathroom, there’s a broken lamp and hockey stick on the floor, the King and Queen of the Elves are gone, and she’s just NOW getting up???
The only way this makes sense is, the parents spent the night at a motel or in the family RV so there was room for Oberon and Titania, and they’re just now getting back to the house.
Only half expect.
And so the race of half-elves enter Dreamland.
Wait! So you’re saying THIS is how Middle Earth began? Is it all just a prologue to JRR Tolkkien’s world? And Scott is using different names to hide the true continuation of the story? Gilgamesh will actually be back as Lord Sauron? (…actually I think that there was a bigger, badder guy before him, right?)
Yes. Sauron is a servant of Morgoth, who is pretty much the evil god who ruined everything for everyone.
Sauron is one of the Maiar, basically servants of the gods. Think angels. They can’t truly be killed – even after the destruction of the ring Sauron still exists… but he doesn’t have the power to manifest a mortal form or influence the realm.
Of course, one of the other Maiar is Olórin, known to the Elves as Mithrandir, and to Men as Gandalf…
Just when you thought Gilgamesh was the final boss….
Now comes the REAL last mission: Explaining to mom why Alex isn’t on earth anymore and probably wont ever come back.

At least it will be easier to explain where Alex went to their parents since they’ve met Alex’s future in-laws.

That last part cracked me up. =)
How will Mrs.Carter take the explanation of what just happened along with the disappearance of her other son?
oh noes! the other shoe has dropped!
NOW their mom shows up……
whoa I TOTALLY forgot about these! ok, that should make this explanation a bit easier.
Thanks so much for the reminder!
I hope they can get adults back into Dreamland so Alex’s mom can see him again <:(

Okay, let me explain, no, not enough time, let me summarize.
She only asked what happened on Earth. That wouldn’t be that long.
Now, the important question: can she expect grandchildren?
Did I miss the part where Dan lost his sight-glasses?
I think they fell off when the beasties started attacking him.
Also explains why she just showed up now. Whatever sleeping pill she took to get over THAT shock must have been pretty strong!
Must have been some dreamland sleeping potion?
Only half expect.

Yep – kinda sorta god level…
Good luck explaining this, Dan!
