If her eyes had popped open and glowed as she spoke Merlin’s words, then we’d know how she was able to speak Mayan when she apparently doesn’t know it.
It was the scabbard. Excalibur itself was said to be able to cut through anything, while the scabbard was said to grant the user a kind of immortality; wounds would not bleed, poison or disease had no hold on them, etc. That got lost/stolen early, though, so it didn’t factor much into the mythos.
At least she didn’t say true love.

Well I called it I think. I believe in some myth Excalibur could indeed raise the dead with it’s healing powers.
