The pirates are having a bad bad day. I think the William Tell Overture is a little better than the 1812 for this, but both will work fine(and opinions are how we all make ourselves known).
Oh great, the color of blood has changed from red to green. Even in the previous pages it has been changed; but the red is still here if I use the “Wayback Machine”. This is supposed to looks less violent.
Perhaps. I mean, how many kids are used to seeing the bad guys get taken down in video games and movies? I recall quite a few young folk in attendance at the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie, and none of them seemed scarred by the transition from “ghost pirates can’t die,” to “they aren’t ghosts anymore…they bleed, and definitely die.”
I look back on the movies I loved as a child all the time and wonder how I wasn’t scarred or otherwise traumatized by them, but my memories of those films are of wonder and fascination, joy and triumph. I have to hope that these children will experience this in much the same way as I did those (incredibly dark, yet somehow still wonderful) films of my childhood.
Oh jeez, her bandage is getting more blood-soaked with each second. I think we’re in a race to see if she can kill all the pirates before she collapses.
uh, these pirates are terrible fighters. no challenge for Nastajia? maybe they are so surprised that the kicking butt is being done by a girl. I’m all for that. Hoping that Alex shows up soon with the scabbard to get her all healed up though.
I’m perfectly alright with violence (within reason) in kid’s media. Witnessing violence in real life can leave a different impact on a person. It’s going to be really painful for Nastajia if she eliminates all the pirates and then she sees all kids huddled in a corner, scared of her, worried that they’re next. Irrational fear on their part? Perhaps, but irrational fear can be very hard to overcome, even when you try to apply logic.
I hope the kids ran off somewhere safe. Nastajia’s probably leaving some nasty mental scars if they stuck around to watch.
I really wouldn’t mind just 100 pages of Nastajia beating up pirates.
Nastajia did not come to play with you pirates. She came to SLAY.
Hmm. One second hand pirate ship available for transport 🙂

you have heard the saying “taking names and kicking butt” here she is saying I don’t care about your name the 1st part will do fine for me.
Go girl, go for broke.
Is that…green blood?!?!?

Hmm. Acid for blood.
Call me Captain Obvious, but I was thinking “Ride of the Valkyries” myself.

It’s always been green in the comic (see when she killed the pirate captain). Tracy forgot and had the last page red. That’s all.
She fixed it.
🙂
She entered the ship, didn’t she? Trying to kill them as fast as possible
berserk mode activated

From seeing the Elven Princess kill the baddies? Psssh. Kids today are more resilient than you give them credit for.
Pink Elephants On Parade, amiright? :3
Be careful, Nastajia!

They never should have let her get ahold of that hammer. 😀 Go Nastajia!!
One thing’s for sure, Faux Action Girl she is not.
holy crap, she is going full John McLane.
Good call!
Green blood? why?
Because pirate blood is copper-based.
