As he says in panel two, they haven’t heard ANYTHING on her status, good or bad. But they do know they haven’t heard anything in a while, and the invasion approaches.
The Abaddon army split into two groups. One was headed for Dreamland to take it over; Alex took care of THEM when he blew up Niviene’s Portal. And them. But an equally strong army is heading towards Earth through the Portal into Egypt. If THAT Portal isn’t sealed or destroyed, things are looking grim.
I assume he’s speaking in general. Alex would have been able to tell Titania and Oberon and Dan and Nicole that the Pharaoh and Queen of Seraphopolis sent Fel to retrieve the final tablet; and Oberon might know that only a Tigrin can speak the spell that awakes Merlin. But as Dan says, they don’t know how that’s working out (or that Felicity got the tablet but may have killed herself in the process) , so they’re proceeding blind here.
Invasion? What invasion? How many of those Nightmare Realm beasts actually remain?
Are their strips missing? how did the folks on Earth learn about Felicity’s condition?

Nicole sounds very confident in Dan,and yet Dan feels they have failed!
Dan: well I guess we’ll have to seal the portal. We’ll need 4 tickets to Egypt and a metric buttload of duct tape.
They can just bury the gate right? I mean, it worked in Stargate.
When the wraiths managed to phase it through the ground? I’d think they already have a counter for that possibility.
Plan B certainly won’t be “Call the Army”, but I expect it to be equally as awesome, considering how clever Dan is made out to be.
Ah don’t worry we’ll be fine, so long as we stock up on frying pans.
That’s what I was thinking. Duct tape. Fixes everything that WD40 can’t.
