Let’s pray Felicity survives to use that spell…!
I kinda like the way Kiwi is drawn now. I think she looks more “fairyish”.
I want to know more about the Tigrins–apparently they were quite powerful.
Aaaaaaand Felicity just got her spell of Plot Protection extended a few more scenes.
No need for this. It’s a web comic, right? Nobody harms a cat on the ‘Net and gets away with it. Nobody.
Safe to assume Tigrins were the most magic-savvy of all the anthropomorphic cat species in Dreamland then? Interesting.
*dons cheerleader outfit* We’re rooting for you, Felicity! Pull through!
Agreed. She’s super cute. 🙂
Folks we’re bumping along near the bottom. Vote please.
Vote??
And so the plots returns to saving Merlin. One wonders if Merlin’s magical sleep is linked to the Dreamer’s magical sleep.
The vote incentive hasn’t changed but here’s the Top Web Comics link

the dreamer is king arthur
You know, if Felicity is the last Tigrin, it would explain her readiness to flirt with non-Tigrins.
Hey all…
Remember this?
http://thedreamlandchronicles.com/comic/page-1705/
Click forward a few pages from that too…
Tigrins are NOT magical. Which is why it was left with them.
why no, I did not remember! but now the connection to Girl Genius in my head is making sense…
So what is it about a Tigrin that they are the only ones who can recite the spell if they are not magical? Did they implant something into Merlin to put him in Sleep mode and Felicity is the only one that can deactivate it?
I don’t know if others have this problem, but I have a hard time getting through the archives. maybe it’s my browser (IE)? I can usually only make it a few pages before my internet goes NOPE.
i’m using chrome and it’s fine.
And then Nivene can get more angry that Merlin’s finally waking up and she’s on the wrong side of the portal :3
The spell is just for them. So it’s not the Tigrins… but Merlin who set up the magic.
Like a fingerprint scanner.
Of course, that didn’t stop the “magic hungry” Egyptians from trying to get it.
I want to know what power created the rule that a tigrin and only a tigrin can cast the spell.
Scot, I really hope you have a underground tiger village in Dreamland, so they won’t be extinct after Felicity dies (young or at an old age)
If they are so good at engineering, why wouldn’t they make a safe spot? Unknown to anyone, and making them almost forget about the other creatures…
If you do create it, it might be something like Felicity being nearby and saying “Oh, this place feels like home, yet I’ve never seen it before… How can it be?” And her curiousity causing her to find the gate, or something like that. Or it’ll cause her to remember her parents and how she lost them (Considering we’ve never seen her parents, just like we never saw the parents of Paddington) It would also explain why it was so hard for Felicity to lose Nicole, and her huge fears of rejection, back then (To my opinion, this is a very very big fear of rejection: “She doesn’t hate me?” http://thedreamlandchronicles.com/comic/page-967/ If she wasn’t afraid of rejection like that, she might have thought Nicole did have forgotten her, because they were just children back then)
Also, losing Nicole because of being arrested, yeah that is also a touch thing… I can understand
You know? As much as I like this series, I’m really hoping that there’s a spin-off or sequel somewhere down the line. The last few pages have really hit home with the “This is the Endgame” vibe, what with how it’s setting up for the chapter’s climax.
…I’ve read a lot of things and watched a lot of things and devoured much of TVTropes years ago. I’ve developed a sort of pattern recognition sense for these sorts of things over the years.
So if we buy in to the idea that Nicodemus is really not a bad guy, maybe he wanted to imprison Felicity to protect her from Abbadon.
Very Disney fairyish! Much like a softer version of Tinkerbell.
Well, that was… Coincidental, not sure why a Tigrin would be casting spells…
Very much a Victorian style fairy…
Incomparable to older faeries though.
