well now his mother might be slightly concerned if she is planning on using the bathroom. The “Enchantress” can then possibly put a crazy smile on her face…
Now, I don’t think that’s quite the case. An explosion big enough to empty a lake, or at least turn it into mud, would surely kill Alex on the spot. Probably they had other reasons to leave (such as not willing to hang out in the open holding a pot all Nightmare realm is hunting for, for example.)
Niviene knows magic to transform herself into an air breather with legs. We saw her walking around Camelot in flashback. She just has to be restored to consciousness long enough and allowed to gather enough strength to cast that spell.
She doesn’t seem to be well defined as far as her powers go. Sometimes she is magical and sometimes not. Sometimes she can breathe air and sometimes not. Sometimes she can sprout legs and sometimes not. I guess we’ll figure it out eventually.
If it happens, will we get to see Nivene VERY angry at Alex and she’ll say to Dan:
“That fool brother of yours just dived into the portal at the lake, still pursuing the elf Nastajia!!! You should have him permanently banished from Dreamland!”
She turns to the King and Queen of Elves:”I’m afraid I’ll have to erase him from your and your daughter’s memory…! It’ll be like he never came to Dreamland…!”
I wonder if Dan and everyone else will be angry at Alex for what he did?!?!
Public drinking water supplies have long used chlorine, but in much smaller amounts than a swimming pool. More recently they have switched to another chemical that is more tasteless, and safer for humans, but worse for fish.
You’re thinking of Choramine. It’s been in tap water since I was a little boy in the early 80s. Mentioned on a little blue bottle of De-Clor (I think it was called) for fish.
Perhaps she is asking for the plant of immortality that Queen Titania is holding. Or she is reminding them of the need to tell Dan about it.
… or she’s possessed… 😉
At least she’s not whispering “Enchantress” (hopes that someone gets that reference)

What is the next plan of attack now that Nievene has taken up residence in the tub?
I hope that chlorinated water doesn’t hurt her like it does fish…
Why didn’t they just leave her in the lake they got her out of???
She has no gills to be harmed by chlorine bubbles. (Unless, of course… No, no. Don’t even want to think about that. It’s magic. It’s got to be magic.)
Some have already suggested there is no lake there any more.
um … Where do they “suggest” the lake went?
In the comments to an earlier page.

Whatever … a fish that big won’t live in a bath tub for very long.
Some could. And anyway, mermaids aren’t fish. Without magic, they wouldn’t probably survive for long under water, either.

lucky for her, they have a bath…what if they had only a shower….
That would be awkward. 😛
A week ago, I wouldn’t have. 😉
Your Highness, we need you to hold her up under this showerhead. All that metal won’t rust, will it?

Household baths don’t contain chlorine, it’s just tap water (drinking water). Thought public pools do contain it.
Are we so sure we saw her walking about Camelot? could anyone possibly refer a page?

damn, those are a lot of hair curls.
it must took a lot of effort to draw those.

It’s all CGI. 3D or not. The computer does everything. I think “hair curl code” is being used… 😀
Never happened as far as I can tell.
Here’s where Niviene’s story begins:

And here, she explicitly states that she never visited Wakeworld for more than a few minutes at a time:
