Let’s see. She’s able to stand and nothing seems broken, which is impressive considering how far she fell and that she crashed through the top of the cavern first. I would assume her back was pretty badly cut up by the jagged rock when she did that, though, and that’s the source of her bleeding. As such her usual acrobatics and high energy moves may be beyond her right now. Still, I pity the monster that gets in her way…
never know~ maybe you get transformed into human once you are “reborn” into the real world via dreamland death. So maybe there’s some guy out there who likes to rhyme and is an ass to gummy bears and/or teddy bears….
Well, I find awkward, the fact that she needs to speak alone, so that us, as readers can understand. At least I would have changed the style of the speech balloon, to imply that she is thinking.
She may have a concussion – given her fall, I’m not sure she could have avoided it – and need to speak because her brain is fuzzy. Putting what you need to do in words helps people focus, in such situations.
Only thing that seems off to me is her “arrgh” comment. Makes her sound like a pirate. If she was supposed to be expressing pain/frustration in regards to her injury, i think that “Unngh” or even “uggh” would have been more fitting for the situation and the character.
Now wouldn’t that be a fitting end? Alex gets banished from Dreamland after doing all the legwork, winds up looking like a shmuck after God-King Daniel shows up… but winds up getting the girl in the end anyhow.
At least *some* good comes out of this for our protagonist.
In Alex’s case, at least until Daneil showed up, Dreamland was a million times better than Earth for him, so yeah, I think he’d ditch Earth for Dreamland in a cold second. He was King, he was a hero, he fought for Dreamland (a place he truly loves), and found true love. And let’s not forget he had super-powers.
As opposed to being more or less a slacker with nothing really going for him, no obvious prospects.
Nastajia on the other hand… gives up her entire existence for what amounts to an alien world. The culture shock would be very real. However, I think what it would boil down to is she’s a princess. She would feel compelled to stay out of her responsibility, I think.
Nastajia!
Stay alive!
But I guess if she dies, the whole fandom starts crying…
If Alex does indeed come back to Dreamland,he’ll arrive in time to attend Nastajia’s funeral?!?!?
She dies in Dreamland .. she wakes up in the real world? No, probably not .. but hey ..
She is quite determined…
She’s not going to be too happy when she finds out that Dan and Nicodemus are BFFs now.
Well, the green giant didn’t wake up in the real world….

WOW! I didn’t even know the series has returned! I have some catching up to do!

Why? Lots of people think out loud.
You go girl. Take no notice of the critics!
Enjoy yourself!
We are. (thumb)

What would it be like if Alex decides to remain in Dreamland or Nastajia decides to stay on Earth…?
If so,would the following dialogue be used…
“You’d do that? Give up your life just for me?”
“You’re all that matters to me,what difference does it make where we live-either on Earth or in Dreamland,as long as we’re together!”
Oh wow, Nastajia, that was a massive bottle of ketchup you fell on–*reads third panel*–so much for that joke.
Walk it off, girl, walk it off.

Don’t Stop Me NOW! I’m havin’ such a good time, I’m havin’ a ball!

Welcome back!
*these* should suffice as sufficient weapons. Small typo. 🙂
