I think that’s what Abaddon is saying. That she is using Sibu Issahir Amelu to maintain her youth, extend her life, and increase her power. Naturally they want it for the Dreamer.
But they’re being stupid. As so often. This is Niviene. There is an excellent chance that she’s going to lead them into a trap that will shred them all while she manages to escape. She also surely knows they’ll try to kill Merlin, anyway, because he’s a tremendous danger to their efforts to invade the Earth. She needs to get free, get her staff, and protect Merlin, and I suspect that’s what she’s going to do. We’ll see if I’m right, or not.
If she really is betraying them, great. If she really is trying to betray them, great. But if not, this page always struck me as hypocritical, give her speech to Nastajia. http://thedreamlandchronicles.com/comic/page-1486/
While Niviene has several personality flaws, I don’t think hypocrisy is one of them. She’ll sacrifice what she has to, to protect Dreamland.
But DOES she have to? A bit of logic would show Abaddon would have to strike at her and Merlin, eventually. She should have prepared ‘surprises’ for them in case they managed to get the upper hand. I’m not sure she would have expected them to know about the Sibu Issahir Amelu, or indeed if she even knows where it is; but it’s still possible she’s readier for them than they know.
There has to be a catch to it. If it was so powerful, she would have gotten that thing herself ages ago….
So the Sibu Issahir Amelu is a plant???

From the Epic of Gilgamesh, yes.
Though the page I found spelt it Shbu Issahir Amelu.

Does that plant prolong a life???
Will Niviene trick the Nightmare beats?
I was thinking the very same.
Thirded.
Nooooooo don’t do it.
Perhaps the plant no longer exists unless you can get past the serpent that ate it… Nicodemus is a serpent…of sort.

According to http://www.mythfolklore.net/3043mythfolklore/reading/gilgamesh/pages/16.htm it is directly translated “the old man becometh young again”. It is a then referenced as a plant of immortality.
This.
