Note to self: do not check for new pages in a completely dark room when Nick is due for an appearance. My heart rate jumped and I may have delayed sleep for at least a half hour.
I imagine it’s difficult to get the feel right in CGI. You can fudge drawn comics so that it looks the way you want it to look, rather than the way it “actually” would.
I just want to say props to Tracy for being game to do this for you. I am so glad you were able to work with someone who knows and loves these characters as much as you do – it’s obvious in the effort she’s put into these pages. They are gorgeous! Thank you to being so committed to finishing the story. So glad to have Dreamland back in my regular comic rotation!

Maybe it’s just me, but I feel that the drawn version has a better ambiance than the CGI.
I may need to do a side by side comparison soon… Just for curiosity’s sake.
The art is really wonderful. It seems to have a warmth that CGI can’t quite capture.
Loving this!!
Glad to see the story pick up again!
Loving the art work and thank you for the heads up on FB about the comic!
I think its fitting that art changes at the same time as the character who is dreaming changes 🙂
I think the CGI was lit too darkly at this point.

Good heavens. Are you still trying to win? You’ve got an overdeveloped sense of vengeance. That’s going to get you into trouble someday…
dammit, i need to update my link so it shows me the current page when I load in. >_<
WOW! I love how much Tracy’s art for Nicodemus tallies with the 3d models.
^ I have to agree, Tracy’s art is quite impeccable 🙂
Loving it too.

Where’s the “like” or “plus one” button, damnit?!
Absolutely.
Nice touch with his eyes showing how dark it is.
