LOL. Poor Felicity. I love her expression in the last panel. And no worries about the past pages, you’ll figure it out. Sometimes it takes a bit of distance to understand what you’re unhappy about.

I think the thing that I found I didn’t like about the last few pages was the lack of visuals. I understand that the Nightmare realm is a bleak place, but other than the up close rocky spires Nastajia is climbing on, the back ground is just a brown haze. Maybe if there was more depth to it, more rocky ridges that stretch off into the distance? Right now it feels like the only part of the Nightmare Realm that truly exists is Nastajia’s immediate surroundings….
Just my two cents of course. š
I’d be unhappy too if I were stuck in the Nightmare Realm for weeks. I hope your “break” from the Nightmare serves you well and you can return with some fresh eyes and perspective! Can’t wait to see what happens with Nastajia and the
ChimeraHydra, though…I don’t think the Nightmare Realm is supposed to be pleasant. Not for the characters, not for the readers and not for the artist! It’s a scary place.
About right, if the artist took great pleasure in drawing nightmare scenes, I’d have to worry about the sanity of the artist.

I’m so happy to see Felicity again. I was starting to get bored of Nastajia. I hope we get to see Kiwi and Paddington soon.
Scott, I love this comic. It has been a wonderful story to follow. The artistry is fantastic. The characters are loveable, relate-able, and child-friendly.
That being said, I believe that the Nightmare Realm should reflect a little more desolation, isolation, or just darkness (i.e. all hope should leave you as you enter into the realm). …I believe that you tried to show that when Alex and Staj first entered into the realm. After soo much time, my memory doesn’t serve me too well. Ha!
The question you have to ask yourself is how much you like that Genre. You simply may not enjoy horror or dark films and such it would be understandable you do not like to create that sort of content as well.
Its sort of how I dislike Romantic Comedies, I find it very hard to read them as well as try to create any sort of Idea of one, but let me try to write up something with Giant Robots and BAM I’m all over that. Try combining the two, a Romantic Comedy with Giant Robots and I find it very difficult to think of anything other than Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox… *Shudder*
