It’s some verses from the Bible. You can see more of it on the next page. But it is Ephesians Chapter 6 verses 11 to 17:
“Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle no against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God”
In some of the next pages you can see there are two short paragraphs, but hard to read, unless you know what to look for.
The timing of his complaint is just funny. Does he expect Sava to travel back in time two years and make the next strips more serious?
(Also, you should expect a certain amount of childish fantasy from a comic called “Dreamland Chronicles”)
Ain’t like a person needs to reckon this comic the very epitome of perfection in order to enjoy reading it on the whole. I don’t really vibe well with the slapstick angle the comic takes sometimes either… but it has enough else going for it to make up for that in my eyes.
Same probably goes for ronin there, but even if it doesn’t, criticism is certainly no lesser an opinion than the sycophancy that infects most of the rest of the comments (on most of the webcomics, no less). Better a person honestly makes it known that something bothers them than just sits back and spouts insincere praise at everything they see.
Honesty is more important than nicety.
Reminds me of King Arthur
But what does the writing say?
BMonk, where were you for the previous page?
(s)hall…to quench all the…
(a)nd…of the Spirit(‘s)…
“You guys HAVE to see this” way to rub it in their faces that there’s cool stuff in there they’ll never see.
I replied to you after you left…

And nobody made you counter-comment either.
