Hey guys!
I’m back from San Diego Comic Con!
Wow…I am BEAT! I mean…it’s just overwhelming.
I’ve been going to the San Diego Comic Con for 19 years now. Since I was in college. Trying to get my first job working for Marvel. It’s not the same con any more.
It’s a Hollywood Media event!
After 2 days of meetings in Hollywood and 5 days of the con. I’m blurry eyed.

Hey Scott, I just wanted to thank you for an awesome day at the con. I don’t know if you’ll remember me since I was only there Thursday, but meeting you and getting a Paddington plush as a gift from you in response to a sketch (I still think you got the raw end of the deal) made my day. I hope to see you again next year, maybe this time I’ll have more time to hang out and chat. 🙂

Ok, for those of you who were not able to make it you REALLY missed out! The banners were fantastic and Scott IS THE NICEST GUY IN THE WORLD!!!! We were able to see him twice before heading back to Utah and we got all of his books as well sketches for our 6 year old son. AAAANNNNDDDD, my wife wanted a paddington. Scott, it was great finally meeting you and your wonderful family. Hopefully we can convince these yahoos to let us have Con here in Utah.

now dan and alex are on the same level, at least for a bit. I bet this made alex’s day. 😀

even though he’s resolved now to do some growing up, you can’t change who you are over night. it will take some time. the thoughtless exclamations on the last pages were most likely knee-jerk reactions. *gives him the benefit of the doubt for now* 😉
Dan may be different from Alex, but not that different. Nancy says, “Boys are so dumb!” If only I can keep her believing that until she finishes college.

The boys look they had such an awesome time! With the number of people at SDCC and the coolness that is Dreamland Chronicles I’m not surprised you sold out of stuff, Scott. I just hope you get more in before Baltimore Comic Con in Oct. lol!!

Why oh why, do I have to live in Louisiana? There are like NO conventions down here. Maybe I can go to HeroesCon when my family goes on vacation to Gatlinburg next summer…. maybe…
