Jukebox…
You may have noticed…we now have a JUKEBOX! (see the top right of the sidebar)
That’s right…I can put music up for you all to listen to.
Now unfortnately for YOU…it’s MY music. Straight out of my itunes library. Ha ha. So it won’t be too “hip” for you youngsters, I’m afraid.
I initially put up 5 songs that had a “Dreamy” feel to them. I’ll swap them out as the mood strikes me.
Full credit for writing this jukebox goes to Scotty Arsenault. I saw it on his site Commander Kitty and inquired where he got it from. He emailed me back stating that he actually CREATED it…and offered a custom one for Dreamland.
So thank you so much Scotty! You…are officially awesome!
🙂
Blackbird is one of my most favorite songs!!!!!!
Aw, most awesome – this version of Over The Rainbow has always haunted me (in the positive sense), and so has Blackbird. You’re hip in my books.
Hey, as a hip young teen, I give you props on the music. Its some pretty nice stuff man, even if it isn’t our usual cup of tea. Also, its fitting to the webcomic, being idyllic and such, which is the most important thing, imho.
Keep up the good work 🙂
Good going! Iz’s version is kind of a theme in our house and Blackbird is a beautiful song …. oh and please never say hip again or I’m going to have to make a citizens arrest and I don’t want to do that…
LOL!
OK Katana…I won’t say it again. I promise.
🙂
And thank you all for listening. I think I’ll update the songs every Sunday night. Should be fun.
My one problem is that when you go to a new page it resets… but of course it’s just a minor inconvenience. Like I said on the forums, this is a great addition to the site. 🙂
We’re working on an idea for that.
Eitehr its own frame…or a pop up.
Any thoughts?
So … is this why Nicole is so interested in studying sleep?
I’d say in its own frame would work better… pop-up windows personally annoy me, whether they’re useful or not.
*super high five*
I have ALWAYS loved that Seal song you have on the ‘box. =D It goes perfectly with Dreamland…^^
well so you know i am artix and will be posting my comments like this from now on and also i am a good fan on your webcomic and i just went on a three day trip out of town and i didn’t check ANY of my 24 webcomics so i have a bit of catching up to do (well thanks for listening choa:D)
I hope your sons will follow your example and get this excited about their children’s birthdays and stomping in the mud. 🙂 I know it meant the world to me when my parents played with me when I was little.
Chappaqua. I know the area; it’s wonderful. Also very, very pricey. Senator Clinton and her husband have a house there, as you may recall, but apart from that you don’t have a lot of celebrities making themselves visible. Chappaqua is where people go when they want peace and quiet, or something like it. About 40 minutes north of NYC, if the traffic isn’t too bad, right on the Saw Mill River Parkway. Or twenty minutes or so down NY 120 to the Westchester County Airport and I 684. Fifteen minutes past that to White Plains.
It’s a lot of neighborhood for the money, if you want the neighborhood and you have the money.
And so begins the next chapter of our tale…
And wow, you got Enigma on there! I have listened to that song ever since I was a baby! (My parents played it next to my crib. Hahaha.)
y no moar jukebox 🙁
People were hacking the site through it.
Ugh. I miss the Jukebox.
how sad 🙁 i miss the songs there like frog prince…the song choices went really good with the plot of the story
