Support Inverloch and Fantasy Realms!!!
So today I’d like to call your attention to Inverloch and Fantasy Realms.
Two incredible comics that have been around LONG before Dreamland was online.
Both comics are now up on Wowio and could use your support.
I know ALL of you have helped support Dreamland by downloading the comics…right?
🙂
So now it’s time to log back in and download some great comics from some great creators.
If you like Dreamland…you’ll LOVE Inverloch and Fantasy Realms.
Check em out today.
And if you can’t get on to Wowio (if you’re out of the country) feel free to visit their websites…

Tell them hi for me.
🙂
I’ve read Inverloch the whole way through and it’s a very entertaining comic. The comic was just finished a number of days ago and the creator is working on starting a new series.
Arvimas: Ah Alexander. Kiwi. Welcome! You’re just in time for the next round of scrabble.
Alexander: Well… Ok… But no words in Elvish this time!
Well, I’m not sure Fantasy Realms is on their web site any more, they may have moved to Wowio completely.
See, I have them bookmarked and there has been _ONE_ update (!!!) since June… or even May. And you know how I feel about updates being too rare…! 🙂
So I don’t know, but it feels like we should not expect any more updates on http://www.fantasyrealmsonline.com/ , which is a pity. It looked promising.
I agree with you completely, Bezman. I had given up hope for Fantasy Realms when I was severely shocked when I saw that updates had occurred since I left it. However, the sporadic updates continued to slow down to a halt and I don’t like comics that cannot update regularly either. I understand there are difficulties, but I would rather read something else than wait forever.
I’m very saddened that Inverloch is now finished. It was a truly great story, although a little confusing at the end.
I’m an avid fan of Inverloch too and while I’m sad it ended, I’m also glad that the author knew when to end it. It’s rare when an author sticks to the main point of his/her story and concludes it with dignity. I think I was most disappointed with the concluding summaries, which should have been more comprehensive. Instead of ending in a flourish, it just sort of trailed off.
I also agree that sporadic updates drive me crazy. One of my regular comics is sporadic and the author always complains that she doesn’t have enough time to work on the comic. I want to yell at her to just drop the comic completely, if she can’t handle the workload. I’m conflicted on whether I should keep reading the interesting story or stop visiting it (and thus reducing my stress levels.) lol.
Inverloch ended where it needed to in terms of the main story, but it really needed an epilogue rather than a brief ‘what happened after’ write up to allow most of the cast to end their tales, too. Still good overall, but the end is weak.
I am definitely looking forward to Phoenix Requiem, though 🙂
Fantasy Realms… looks gorgeous, but I just read all 80-odd pages and I couldn’t tell you the point of the story. The opening scene suggests the rest is all flashback, but nothing else that happens has any relevance at all to it so far. Flashbacks within the flashback just add confusion…
Inverloooch <3 🙂
Fantasy realms… great art, but confused plot lines and nearly inexistent updates totally ruin it 🙁
oh indeed!! Fantasy Realms was my first ever webcomic!!!! =D and i started following Inverloch a long time ago. kinda sad it’s finished =P
both are terrific ^_^ amongst my favourites ^_^ highly recommend!
I’ve been reading Inverloch for over two years. It’s an amazing story with beautiful art. Definately recommeneded as a read, especially now that the story is finished. No more cliffhangers. =D
Actually, Inverloch’s links page is how I found The Dreamland Chronicles…
I love Inverloch! I am anxiously waiting for her new comic. She’s got good skills on both the writing and the drawing side of things.
Fantasy Realms I don’t know well, but if it’s on Wowio I can get it.
Thanks for the information – I’m also a fan of Inverloch. I wish I could support this comic, Inverloch and others by downloading them from Wowio…unfortunately they will only provide service to those who reside in the U.S.
I’ve got a stupid question of the day:
If Felicity isn’t welcome in this discussion, why is she there in the same room while they are discussing the situation? I can understand that she was probably allowed to tag along because Alexander was vouching for her, but she should have been kept in another room while they talked about it if she was considered suspicious I would think.
Bah! So many great comics on Wowio and we Canadians still can’t see any of them 🙁
I like Dreamland better then both of those comics. I just don’t like the overall feel of Inverloch and Fantasy Realms. Its just too dark for my tastes. And I didn’t like how Inverloch ended… :/
Yeah, I’ve started reading through Inverloch and am liking the story so far. Also annoyed that I can’t sign up for Wowio, but hey.
Keep up the good work 🙂
